Approximately 2 million people in the U.S. who are prescribed warfarin annually, 35,000 to 45,000 individuals go to hospital emergency rooms with warfarin-related adverse drug events. [1]

The Build-a-Care anticoagulation app, has been designed to solve the challenges with coumadin (warfarin) dose adjustment to maintain the patient’s INR level within the desired range. A seamless digital channel is established through which the patients can report their INR lab results to their care providers and receive treatment updates in real time.

  • Custom alerts for care providers when their patient’s INR is at a dangerous level
  • Timely medication reminders that improve warfarin regimen adherence
  • Intelligent prompts to guide the next step for the patients
